Ricahrd La Rovere has been creating in Jersey City's art and historic preservation scenes for decades. In 2019 he donated an extensive collection of his well-know architectural renderings to the New Jersey Room. A 2022 grant from the Jersey City Arts & Culture Trust Fund supported the creation of a collection inventory and finding aid. 

A pop-up show displaying selections from these artworks will be mounted from mid-April through May of 2023, supplementing the images on long-term display in the Infornmation Services Department on the second floor. The artist will discuss his work and be available for questions at an opening reception on Tuesday evening, April 11, from 5-7:30.
