The Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks In-Person
Upon the closing of Black History Month and the beginning of Women's History Month, join us for a screening of "The Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks" -The unexpected story of Parks and her life beyond the historic bus boycott, revealing the intent behind her activism, her radical politics and her courage. Followed by a discussion with one of the directors sof the film. Yoruba Richen is an award-winning documentary filmmaker whose work has been featured on multiple outlets including Netflix, MSNBC, FX, HBO, Frontline, and Peacock.
