Library Card Sign-Up Event In-Person
“Get in Your Element” this September—sign up for a library card!
From borrowing books, ebooks, and laptops to learning new skills, a library card helps you do more of what you enjoy.
If you live, work or go to school in Jersey City, or if you live within another Hudson County town, you are eligible for a Jersey City Free Public Library card!
A library card is essential—it's elemental, really—and everyone should have one!
To sign up for a card or renew your old card, please bring with you a photo ID and a current piece of mail as proof of address.
