Mad Science: Optical Illusions (Ages 8+)* In-Person

Explore the physics of optical illusions. Learn how our eyes can trick our brains to “see” objects. You need to have light in order to see and that light always travels in a straight line. Be dazzled by a “floating” object which appeared as a mirror image. Manipulate flexible mirrors and explore the world with inverted vision. How are periscopes used in different ways to help people, like in a submarine to see above the surface of the water. Online registration begins Monday, July 21. Ages 8+.
