Researchers in Training In-Person

Kids ages 8-11, come join a library volunteer twice a week and learn how to be a real researcher and record each other’s stories! Pick your own research question, then interview another kid while you record them. By the end, you’ll have conducted your own study!

Please fill out this survey: https://rutgers.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_7Xak9IFO4szSFEy

(Registration is required.)

Note to Parents/Guardians: This library activity is part of a research study (Children’s Informal Learning in Libraries), by Childhood Studies Ph.D. candidate, Natalie Gologorsky, for her dissertation project for Rutgers University. This research is being conducted to understand how children explore their own interests in the library. If you register your child for this activity, you are consenting for them to be a part of this research. A recording of your child with no name or personal information attached will be made. For more information, contact Natalie at natalie.gologorsky@rutgers.edu.
