Prostate Awareness Event In-Person

Join the Jersey City Free Public Library for Prostate Health & Cancer: Know Your Risks, a free community event focused on education, awareness, and support for men over 40 and their families.

The program features a medical discussion with Dr. Adit Shah of RWJ Barnabas Health, who will cover risk factors, warning signs, and screening options. Library Director and survivor Terry B. Hill will share his personal journey, joined by his wife, Tracy Q. Hill, who will reflect on her experience as a caregiver and lead a closing relaxation session.

Health screenings and light refreshments will also be available. This event is designed to encourage early detection, open conversation, and proactive care.
